The Journal of the College of Languages was established in 1994. It is a bi-annual peer-reviewed academic journal issued by the University of Baghdad/College of Languages. It publishes original and high-quality research in the humanities, specializing in language, literature, and translation into living foreign languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Turkish, Italian, Persian, Hebrew, Kurdish, and Syriac).
The Journal of the College of Languages (JCL) welcomes competent academic scholars to join us as reviewers. JCL publishes research papers in the fields of linguistics, literature, and translation in a number of languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Hebrew and Persian.
